What is DNet ©
DNet© is a network to acknowledge publishers, organisations, donors and content developers (such as authors, music composers and self-publishers) that actively deposit and donate their materials with the National Library Singapore.When you deposit your publications with us, you:
- Preserve Singapore's documentary heritage and assist in building up the national depository for documentary materials
- Provide future access to materials deposited digitally and physically with reduced threats to authenticity and integrity
- Promote your materials and publications in the Singapore National Bibliography which can be accessed worldwide
Benefits of joining DNet ©:
- Opportunities to be featured or highlighted in NLB's publicity collaterals;
- Showcasing of titles in NLB websites, research publications or customized booklists;
- Discount rates for facilities for official or corporate functions or possible venue sponsorship, and collaboration of public programmes or seminars; and
- Recognition by being invited to exclusive Appreciation sessions and special library events
Criteria of joining DNet ©:
For Commercial Publishers, Associations, Societies, Corporate Organisations, Government Agencies, Self Publishers & OthersCriteria: Above 80% deposit rate of physical and/or electronic materials within published year
For Publishers and Printers Associations
Criteria: At least 50% of members have deposited publications within published year
For Donors (Individuals or Organisations)
Criteria: Donated significant or notable Singapore or Southeast Asian materials to the National Library Singapore
Other considerations:
- Good track record
- Responsible use of international standard numbers assigned
- Use of Deposit Web an advantage

2010/2011 DNet© members
Evaluation for DNet© membership 2011/2012 will take place in April/May 2011 and the list of DNetĀ© members will be announced on 1 June 2011.
